Job Overview:

As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in expanding MIC’s community and maintaining strong relationships with our subscribers. You’ll be responsible for selling subscriptions to artists, musicians, technicians, managers, agents, publicists, publishers, venues, creators, and other industry professionals — while nurturing the connections you build over time. This role blends proactive outreach, inbound support, and strategic follow‑through to help our community thrive.

Responsibilities:

  • Event Outreach — Attend all music‑related events to promote MIC and grow brand visibility.
  • Sponsorship Prospecting — Identify and pursue sponsorship opportunities that align with MIC’s mission.
  • Lead Generation — Generate new customer leads through research, networking, and targeted outreach.
  • Cold Calling — Contact potential clients to introduce MIC’s platform and subscription offerings.
  • Relationship Management — Maintain strong customer relationships throughout their entire experience with MIC.

Skills:

  • Proven experience in media and/or music industry sales
  • Strong closing ability while maintaining positive, long‑term client relationships
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly and persuasively explain platform features and technical solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
  • Analytical mindset for assessing market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes
  • Proficiency in cold and warm calling techniques, paired with effective marketing strategies to generate leads and build new business relationships

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Nashville, TN 37210
