About the role
As a Quality Engineer at Westmag, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our drone motors and robotic actuators across the entire product lifecycle. You will own quality systems and processes, drive root cause analysis and corrective actions, and partner closely with design, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer teams to uphold product excellence and customer satisfaction.
What you'll own
Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and processes across production and R&D.
Lead root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives.
Define and monitor quality metrics, inspection criteria, and acceptance standards for motors and actuators.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, supply chain, and test engineering to resolve quality and reliability issues.
Support new product introduction (NPI), qualification, and certification activities.
Manage supplier quality, incoming inspection, and non-conformance processes.
Document quality procedures, develop SOPs, and train technicians and operators on quality standards.
