Position Overview

Afficient Academy is seeking a motivated and relationship-oriented Sales Account Manager to promote our AI-powered K–12 Math and English learning programs within Indian communities throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. This role is responsible for community engagement, lead generation, customer acquisition, and ongoing customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and participate in community events, educational programs, cultural organizations, and other activities serving Indian families in the San Francisco Bay Area.
  • Promote Afficient Academy's educational programs through community networks, social media groups, parent organizations, and local gatherings.
  • Engage prospective parents and students to introduce Afficient Academy's learning solutions and benefits.
  • Conduct consultations, follow up with leads, and support the enrollment process for new students.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing families and provide ongoing support to help ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Generate new business opportunities through referrals from current parents, students, and community partners.
  • Gather feedback from parents and students and communicate market insights, customer needs, and improvement opportunities to the company.
  • Represent Afficient Academy professionally at community events and educational outreach activities.

Qualifications

Required

  • Strong connections within Indian communities in the San Francisco Bay Area.
  • Experience using social media platforms and community networks for outreach and engagement.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented.
  • Ability to work effectively with parents, students, and community organizations.

Preferred

  • Experience in sales, business development, customer success, or community outreach.
  • Familiarity with K–12 education, tutoring, enrichment programs, or educational technology.
  • Knowledge of K–12 Math and English curriculum.
  • Experience working with parent communities and educational organizations.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary: $5,000–$6,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Performance-based sales commissions.
