Job Title: Production Electronics Assembler – Cleanroom Manufacturing

Job Description

This entry-level role focuses on the precise and repetitive assembly of small electronic components in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. You will work with printed circuit boards and related components, using hand and power tools, microscopes, and inspection techniques to ensure products meet strict quality and cleanliness standards. Responsibilities

  • Perform precise, repetitive assembly of electronic components, including chips and printed circuit boards, in a cleanroom environment.
  • Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and basic electrical schematics to assemble products accurately and consistently.
  • Use hand and power tools, as well as mechanical and electrical assembly tools, to complete production tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Operate on an assembly line to support consistent production flow and meet daily output and quality targets.
  • Conduct visual and microscope-based inspections of assemblies to verify quality, cleanliness, and correct component placement.
  • Assist with basic electronics repair and rework tasks on assemblies as directed by supervisors or technicians.
  • Maintain strict adherence to cleanliness, contamination control, and quality standards required in a cleanroom environment.
  • Document work as required, including noting defects, rework, and inspection results, to support traceability and quality control.
  • Handle and store electronic components and PCB boards carefully to prevent damage and ensure product reliability.
  • Collaborate with team members and follow guidance from leads and technicians to continuously improve assembly methods and efficiency.
  • Support general production and manufacturing activities, including basic general labor tasks related to assembly and inspection.

Essential Skills

  • Entry-level manufacturing or production experience, preferably in an electronics or assembly environment.
  • Basic understanding of electronics assembly, including working with chips, PCB boards, and electronic components.
  • Ability to follow written instructions, blueprints, and simple electrical schematics with close attention to detail.
  • Comfort using hand tools and power tools for mechanical and electrical assembly tasks.
  • Capability to perform repetitive tasks with consistent accuracy and quality.
  • Strong focus on cleanliness and quality, with willingness to follow strict cleanroom procedures.
  • Ability to perform visual inspections, including using a microscope for detailed inspection work.
  • Reliability in attendance and punctuality to support a contract-to-hire path and long-term growth.
  • Capacity to work effectively on an assembly line and in a team-oriented production environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in electronics assembly, electrical assembly, or electronics repair.
  • Familiarity with PCB assembly processes and handling of sensitive electronic components.
  • Experience working in a cleanroom or other controlled manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to mechanical assembly and general labor tasks in a production setting.
  • Interest in developing skills to progress from operator roles into technician or specialist positions.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, procedures, and quality standards as responsibilities grow.

Pay and Benefits
