Join Our Team as a Special Events Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B)
Location: Bronx, NY
Starting pay is $19.75 per hour and up, based on years of experience!
We are actively seeking dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests, delivering exceptional care, treatment, and customer service to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of patients, determine the necessary care, and provide emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
- Document patient information, conditions, and treatments while ensuring confidentiality and upholding patient rights.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for all patients.
- Utilize appropriate skills in care provision, including communication, medical equipment operation, cleaning procedures, and office tools.
- Safely operate an ambulance in compliance with the company's safety policies and traffic laws associated with emergency medical response vehicles.
- Collaborate professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as fellow EMTs.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- State Driver's License.
- NYS EMT certification.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Driving record compliant with company policy.
- Pass the Physical Ability Test (PAT).
- Previous work experience in healthcare is preferred but not mandatory.
