Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for Italian-speaking customers, handling inbound inquiries related to shipments, freight bookings, delivery tracking, and cargo status via phone, email, and live chat.
Provide accurate, timely, and professional information regarding shipping schedules, transit times, customs documentation requirements, and freight rate queries.
Assist Italian-speaking clients with the end-to-end management of their shipping orders, including booking confirmations, amendments, and cancellations in line with company procedures.
Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues related to delayed, damaged, or missing shipments, escalating complex cases to the appropriate freight operations team when necessary.
Liaise effectively with internal logistics, operations, and warehousing departments to ensure the seamless flow of information and the swift resolution of customer concerns.
Maintain precise and up-to-date records of all customer interactions and shipping transactions within the company's CRM and freight management systems.
Proactively communicate shipping updates, service disruptions, or regulatory changes to Italian-speaking clients to ensure transparency and build long-term customer trust.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring customer pain points and sharing actionable feedback with the wider customer service and operations teams.
