Schedule/Hours:
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week assignment
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum one year of recent experience in a stepdown or PCU setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and team collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Care for patients requiring intermediate monitoring and intervention including cardiac and respiratory care
- Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and other nurses to implement care plans
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in accordance with hospital policy
- Serve as an advocate for patient needs while maintaining safety and high standards of care
