Lead Painter / Painter (Part-Time | Opportunity for Full-Time)

We are looking for a dependable, skilled Lead Painter/Painter to join our growing team. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to become full-time as our workload continues to grow.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional who can work independently, take ownership of job sites, and deliver high-quality workmanship on both residential and commercial painting projects.

Responsibilities

  • Perform interior and exterior painting for residential and commercial properties.
  • Prepare surfaces by sanding, scraping, patching, caulking, masking, and priming.
  • Apply paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
  • Work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Manage assigned job sites from start to finish, ensuring projects stay on schedule.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and team members.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications

  • Previous professional painting experience required.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on the job.
  • Experience managing job sites and leading projects is preferred.
  • Knowledge of residential and commercial painting techniques.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.

Experience

  • Professional Painting: 2+ years preferred
  • Job Site Management: 1+ year preferred
