Requirements
*
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
*
Active and unrestricted Maryland LPN license required
*
Minimum 6 months of LPN experience required
*
Current BLS/CPR certification required
*
Annual physical required where applicable
*
Negative TB test results required
*
Ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements
*
COVID-19 vaccination or compliance with facility-specific requirements may be required
*
Ability to perform required job duties, including pushing, pulling, supporting, and lifting up to 80 pounds
Responsibilities
*
Provide skilled nursing care in a Long-Term Care setting
*
Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as appropriate
*
Monitor, assess, and report changes in resident condition
*
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
*
Perform wound care and collect laboratory specimens as needed
*
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team
*
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
*
Restock medications, supplies, and equipment as needed
*
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
*
Follow facility policies, procedures, and patient safety standards
