NCC Talent Solutions is proud to partner with a growing CDMO startup in San Diego to bring on an Office Manager & Accountant. The Office Manager & Accountant serves as a trusted operational partner in a growing, GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment. This role is responsible for day-to-day office operations and accounting coordination, ensuring smooth internal operations while supporting accurate financial processes.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role ideal for someone who thrives in small companies, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and brings strong accounting fundamentals paired with excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance Operations
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
- Oversee expense reporting, reimbursements, and corporate card programs
- Coordinate payroll processing through a third-party provider (PEO or payroll vendor)
- Maintain general ledger accuracy in partnership with an outsourced CPA or accounting firm
- Support monthly close activities and provide required documentation to finance partners
- Track vendor contracts, invoices, and payment schedules
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation as needed
Office & Facilities Operations
- Own day-to-day office operations, including supplies, vendors, and service providers
- Coordinate facilities needs (repairs, access, safety, office setup)
- Support onboarding and offboarding logistics (equipment, badges, workspace readiness)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for office-related questions and needs
- Ensure the office environment supports productivity, compliance, and collaboration
Qualifications
Required
- Typically requires 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, office management or operations roles
- Hands-on experience with AP/AR, expense management, and payroll coordination with external vendor.
