Key Responsibilities:
- Business Planning & Leadership: Utilize digital tools and data-driven insights to devise strategies, enhance sales execution, and achieve performance goals.
- Effective Selling: Communicate effectively with customers, identify their needs, handle objections, and close sales with actionable commitments.
- Customer Development: Build and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while managing accounts holistically.
- Market Expertise: Stay informed on market trends and account dynamics, leveraging therapeutic knowledge to discover and prioritize opportunities.
- Reimbursement Knowledge: Understand reimbursement processes and proactively address access issues using company resources.
- Compliance: Adhere to pharmaceutical regulations and Lundbeck policies regarding product promotion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Arts or Sciences from an accredited institution.
- 2-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or related healthcare sales.
- Ability to excel in product and disease training programs, achieving annual certification.
- Self-motivated individual with strong communication skills and a tenacious work ethic.
- Adaptability and collaborative spirit suited for a fast-paced environment.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate challenges.
- Strong technical proficiency for data analysis aligned with business objectives.
- Must reside within 40 miles of territory boundaries.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing required.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 25 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Experience:
- Successful track record selling to general practitioners and primary care settings.
- Previous experience in promoting CNS or neuroscience products.
- Experience working with alliance partners in co-promotions.
Travel Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 30%-40% domestically to engage with customers and attend meetings and conferences.
The pay range for this position is $110,000 to $126,000, coupled with an additional sales incentive target of $40,500.
