Experienced Head Sushi Chef

Must have over 5 years’ experience

·Looking to hire experienced Sushi Chef to help open a new restaurant. Show us what you got! We want to work with someone who can help create and execute and new menu for a new restaurant in Down Town New Port Richey.

Must have experience as a Sushi Chef. This job will require you to work with the Executive Chef to execute a menu. To train all sushi staff. Ability to create new menu items with the Executive Chef . Able to finish daily food preparation. Ensuring kitchen-sushi staff adhere to set standards, procedures, department rules and sanitation requirements. Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies. Managing the kitchen inventory and ensuring supplies are fresh and of high quality.

  • Ensuring proper food temperatures when cooking and proper storage afterward. Keeping the workstation and kitchen equipment clean, organized, and sanitized.Taking charge of kitchen opening set up, closing and other side duties as directed by the Executive Chef .Responsible for your sushi-staff's performance daily. Must be able to stand for long periods, lift and carry heavy items (over 20lbs), bend, and squating.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $30,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
