Orange Tree Staffing is seeking a bright and talented Occupational Therapist (OT) to 'Build and Inspire Growth' by providing education-based therapy services to students located in Albuquerque for the 2026 - 2027 School Year!

JOB DESCRIPTION

Location Of Services: Bernalillo County, NM

Hours Per Week: Up to 16 hours

Dates of Contract: 2026-2027 School Year

Additional: Part-time position 2 days per week servicing district wide early childhood learning centers.

REQUIREMENTS

OT State Licensure

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' fine motor, sensory, and functional needs.

Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based intervention plans tailored to each student's goals.

Provide therapeutic services to improve daily living skills, motor coordination, sensory processing, and school participation.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate occupational therapy strategies into classroom and educational activities.

Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing clear reports and recommendations to support student success.

Monitor progress regularly, adjusting intervention plans as needed based on ongoing assessments and collaboration.

Maintain accurate documentation, including assessments, intervention plans, progress notes, and compliance reports.

Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy through research and professional development.
