Senior Staff Accountant
Location: Tucson, AZ
Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site
CV Resources is partnering with a well-established, privately held organization in Tucson to identify a Senior Staff Accountant. This position is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys a mix of financial reporting, account analysis, and month-end close responsibilities while working closely with leadership and a collaborative accounting team.
Responsibilities
- Support month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities
- Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules
- Assist with the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements
- Analyze financial transactions and ensure proper general ledger coding
- Participate in accounting projects, reporting initiatives, and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience with general ledger responsibilities
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
