Position Summary

Accel at Crystal Park is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide personal care to residents, assist the charge nurse, and deliver exceptional service as part of a multidisciplinary team. The role involves an 8‑hour shift, ensuring resident safety and comfort, supporting independence, and assisting with care plans.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort consistent with community policy.
• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
• Advices supervising charge nurse of resident’s status at the beginning and end of shift.
• Contribute knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans.
• Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure.
• Observe and report on residents’ conditions, and document observations as required.
• Comply with safe lifting and/or safe transfer procedures for residents.
• Perform moderate to heavy lifting as required.
• Ensure equipment is clean and functional.
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks to maintain a clean, hazard‑free environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

CNA Requirements

• State certification as a nursing assistant in the state of practice.
• Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant.
• Highly developed observation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
