As a Dishwasher/Busser, you will ensure our restaurant operates smoothly by handling dishwashing duties, assisting with food service, and supporting the overall cleanliness of the establishment. Responsibilities

  • Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Assist servers and kitchen staff by bussing tables promptly and resetting dining areas for incoming guests.
  • Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic cleaning and organizing of kitchen stations.
  • Handle manual lifting of heavy items such as crates, pots, pans, and bulk supplies safely and correctly.
  • Follow food safety management protocols to ensure proper handling and sanitation of all items.
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing floors, counters, and workspaces regularly.
  • Collaborate with team members during catering or banquet events to support efficient food service and cleanup efforts.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in restaurant settings or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
  • Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling practices.
  • Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including lifting heavy loads consistently.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cleaning and maintaining hygiene standards.
  • Basic knife skills or familiarity with kitchen tools is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Experience with dishwashing equipment or commercial cleaning tools is advantageous.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude; previous catering or banquet experience is a bonus.
