Job Summary:

Your role as a Warehouse Stacker at Aramark involves pivotal contributions to the efficiency and accuracy of product handling, from reception to distribution. You are tasked with pivotal responsibilities such as overseeing inventory management, facilitating order processing, and upholding the cleanliness and safety standards of the workplace.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum age of 18 years is required
  • Candidates with a high school diploma or GED qualification are favored
  • It is preferred that applicants have a minimum of two years of experience in a warehouse setting
  • The core competencies of reading, writing, and math are crucial
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Excellent written and oral communication talents
  • Capacity to handle devices with adept manual skills
  • Capability to carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds, including regularly lifting and transporting items up to 35 pounds
  • A valid driver's license could be mandatory depending on the location, and applicants should anticipate a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) assessment

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of walking and standing still
  • Repeated performance of lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling motions
  • Uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn according to regulations

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments to verify quality and ensure items match invoices, immediately reporting any errors.
  • Manage perishable inventory using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method to maintain product freshness and reduce waste.
  • Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe manner after receiving proper training.
  • Pick and prepare orders for products, materials, or machinery to fulfill internal and external customer requests.
  • Move, unload, and transfer goods across the facility or to client locations using carts or motorized equipment.
  • Conduct routine inventory audits and quality inspections based on the established facility schedule.
  • Maintain detailed records, such as inventory logs, temperature checks, and equipment inspections, in either paper or digital formats.
  • Ensure all warehouse areas, including loading docks and common spaces, remain clean, organized, and well-maintained.
  • Follow all established safety guidelines, OSHA regulations, and emergency procedures while reviewing safety data as needed.
  • Wear all required safety gear and protective equipment to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Protect the integrity and security of both company assets and customer property.
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with team members, vendors, and visitors.
  • Attend team meetings and assist with any additional operational tasks as requested by supervisors.
