Welder
This role supports metal fabrication and manufacturing operations by producing high‑quality welded parts and components in accordance with detailed drawings and specifications. You will work with modern welding equipment in a stable manufacturing environment, contributing to a strong team culture while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and workmanship. Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment, including manual welding machines, spot welders, and robotic welding systems.
Weld parts and components in accordance with customer drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Set up fixturing and organize work areas to consistently produce zero‑defect parts.
Operate manual and power tools to grind, finish, and prepare welded parts for final use or further processing.
Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with welding procedures and specifications.
Use measuring and inspection tools to verify part dimensions and ensure they meet required tolerances.
Accurately complete work orders, production records, and related documentation.
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall production and continuous improvement efforts.
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Hands‑on welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
At least 6+ months of MIG welding experience.
Proficiency in MIG welding and general welding techniques.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and customer specifications.
Experience using measuring devices and inspection tools to verify dimensions.
Familiarity with welding procedures and specifications (WPS).
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality, safety, and accuracy.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
Associate’s degree from an accredited welding program.
AWS certification or the ability and willingness to obtain certification.
Experience setting up weld stations and fixturing for production work.
Forklift experience or willingness to obtain forklift certification.
Experience with fabrication processes in a production or job‑shop environment.
Comfort working with manual welding machines, spot welders, and robotic welding systems.

This position is based in a manufacturing shop‑floor environment with moderate noise levels and operates on a 2nd shift schedule from 2:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday. The role requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and handling materials for most of the shift, as well as working around welding equipment and fabrication machinery. Employees use modern welding equipment, including manual welding machines, spot welders, robotic welding systems, and various manual and power tools for grinding and finishing. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times, including welding shields, hearing protection, and steel‑toed boots, and all team members follow established safety and quality procedures to maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑focused workplace.
