Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our front desk and ensure exceptional guest experiences at our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in hospitality management, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. This role is crucial in maintaining the hotel's reputation for excellence and ensuring smooth communication between guests and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Manage front office operations, including guest check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Supervise front desk staff, providing training and support to enhance performance.
  • Ensure effective communication with all departments to meet guest needs.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Maintain accurate records of reservations, room assignments, and billing information.
  • Oversee the use of phone systems and ensure proper phone etiquette is followed by staff.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest relations and overall satisfaction.
  • Monitor inventory of front office supplies and coordinate orders as needed.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of front desk personnel.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality management is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
  • Familiarity with front desk operations and phone systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Bilingual candidates are highly desirable ( but not mandatory) to accommodate diverse guests.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a Hotel environment is a plus.
