Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable Carpenter/Laborer to join our growing construction team. This position involves a combination of skilled carpentry work and general construction labor on residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate is hardworking, safety-conscious, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform rough and finish carpentry work
• Install framing, doors, windows, trim, cabinetry, and other building components
• Assist with demolition, site preparation, and cleanup
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely
• Follow project plans, specifications, and supervisor instructions
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Assist other trades and crew members as needed
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Previous construction or carpentry experience preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Basic knowledge of construction methods and tools
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor throughout the day
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver's license preferred

Preferred Skills

• Framing experience
• Finish carpentry experience
• Basic concrete, drywall, or painting experience
• Equipment operation experience
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
