CNC Machinist
$28 - $32 per hour | Dayton, OH | On‑Site | Permanent

Consistent Schedule: 1st Shift only (Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
Modern Equipment: Work on HAAS Mills (VF1, VF2, VF4, VF6) and Samsung Lathe with live tooling and a Patriot bar feeder
Flexible Employment: Full‑time or part‑time options available
Growth Opportunity: Program, set up, and operate CNC milling and turning equipment, including HAAS 3‑axis mills and Samsung CNC lathe with live tooling.
Write, read, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs using Mastercam and/or directly at the machine control.
Perform machine setup including aligning, securing, and adjusting cutting tools for each job.
Conduct in‑process and final inspection of machined parts to verify conformance to specifications.
Operate the Patriot bar feeder system in conjunction with lathe operations.
Manage production runs across low‑to‑medium volume and one‑off custom part jobs.
Provide leadership guidance and support to junior machinists as needed.
High school diploma or GED required; vocational/technical training in machining or manufacturing preferred.
Minimum 2 years of hands‑on machine shop experience.
Proficiency in Mastercam CAM software and/or conversational/G‑code programming directly at the machine.
Experience with CNC lathe operation; Leadership qualities and willingness to mentor or guide other team members a plus.
Full‑time Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Monday‑Friday
Part‑time also available.
