Senior Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Follow plans and programs that meet present and anticipated space and facility requirements.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair facility systems and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Support and comply with NOV’s HSE policies and procedures and contribute actively to the site’s HSE program.
• Help maintain permits and inspections, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards
• Ensure contractors adhere to NOV policies while working on-site.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment and facilities.
• Perform adjustment of repair of items as required.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to identify early signs of failure or wear.
• Communicate and actively listen to operators, vendors, and other maintenance personnel to ensure production readiness of machines.
• Work from machine design drawings, specifications, and handbooks.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned by the Facility Manager

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or technical certification preferred.
• Prior experience in industrial, manufacturing, or oilfield maintenance roles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, machine diagrams, and maintenance documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical skills.
• Demonstratable applicable experience with the above responsibilities.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
