Server and Bartender Position

Servers and bartenders are responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience by providing attentive service, preparing beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Guest Service & Table Responsibilities

Greet guests within five minutes of being seated and provide a welcoming dining experience.

Take accurate food and beverage orders while highlighting daily specials and menu features.

Maintain a clean and organized table throughout the guest's visit.

Provide beverage refills and ensure guests' needs are met in a timely manner.

Upsell menu items and beverage additions when appropriate.

Communicate effectively with the kitchen and support staff to ensure timely service.

Deliver food and beverages accurately to guests.

Present checks and process payments efficiently.

Use the POS system to enter and manage orders.

Bartending Responsibilities

Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests seated at the bar and for service staff in the dining area.

Engage with guests seated at the bar and provide recommendations when appropriate.

Ensure all guests consuming alcohol meet legal age requirements.

Maintain proper bar inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed.

Accurately ring in beverages using the POS system.

Efficiently process guest payments and maintain proper cash handling procedures.

Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar area throughout the shift.

General Responsibilities

Maintain Department of Health and alcohol service standards.

Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management.

Assist with additional duties as assigned by management to support restaurant operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid Indiana Liquor License.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to stand and walk for at least 4 hours per shift.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to accurately handle money and process payments.

Available to work Friday through Sunday brunch shifts.

Strong teamwork and customer service skills.

Preferred Skills

Previous serving or bartending experience.

Prior customer service experience.

High School Diploma or GED.
