Property Manager
DWM Property Management (Arlington, MA), is a full-service residential property management company offering quality services in Somerville, Cambridge, and surrounding towns. DWM specializes in managing small-mid-size residential properties including condominium associations, multi-family units, and individual units. We are managing the search for a full-time, on-site Property Manager.
Essences of the Position
You, as the successful candidate, will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of residential properties, including condominium associations and multi-family units, handling tenant inquiries, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. The properties are primarily in the Cambridge, Somerville area.
Key Support for the Property Manager
- The Assistant Property Manager will handle all accounting tasks, snow removal, landscape contracting, and sending out new and renewal leases.
- An overnight Call Center contacts the maintenance crew with the issue, not you.
- The leasing of units is handled by a team that will market and show the units, draft the lease, and schedule background and financial checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain positive resident and client relations and promptly address any issues or concerns.
- Process, schedule, and manage service, maintenance, and capital improvements. This includes identifying and communicating problems related to all aspects of each property.
- Conduct and lead annual owners’ meetings for condominium associations.
- Create annual budgets.
- Manage the turnover process for vacant apartments, renewals and leasing.
- Occasional on-call availability for emergencies including occasional evenings and weekends, including handling occasional lockouts, heat issues, etc.

Qualifications
- 2+ years of property management or real estate experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, Business Administration, or related field.
- Skilled in verbal & written communication, conducting Zoom meetings, negotiation, customer service, prioritization, and time management.
- Experience managing and conducting meetings for Condo Associations.
- Highly proficient in property management software, Google workspace tools, Microsoft Office suite, Zoom. Experience with Buildium a plus!
- Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to property management. Ability to multitask and work under pressure in emergency situations.
- Ability to problem-solve with an even temperament and work in a small, group environment.
- Driver's license required.
