This is an exciting opportunity to earn while you learn through a paid three-year apprenticeship, gaining hands-on experience in CNC machining, foundry tooling, and 3D scanning/printing.

Location: Leeds, AL (Onsite)

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 4:00 AM–2:30 PM (OT as needed)

Pay: $27.04–$32.65/hour (based on experience)

Type: Fulltime-to-Direct Hire

What You'll DoAs a Patternmaker Apprentice, you'll develop the technical skills needed to design and build precision foundry and casting tooling through a structured apprenticeship program.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Participate in a comprehensive three-year apprenticeship program
• Learn foundry and casting tooling design and manufacturing techniques
• Job shadow experienced patternmakers and manufacturing professionals
• Assist with manual and CNC machining operations
• Learn CNC programming, machine setup, and operation
• Gain experience with 3D scanning and 3D printing technologies
• Complete required in-house, online, and community college training
• Follow safety procedures while maintaining a clean, organized work environment
• Continuously build technical skills for long-term career growth

What You NeedRequired:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Plus one of the following:
• 80% or higher on the skills assessment, or
• Machine Tool Technology Certificate/current enrollment, or
• Proven manual or CNC machining experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work full-time on 1st shift and overtime when required
• Commitment to completing the apprenticeship program

Preferred:

• Previous manufacturing or machining experience
• Experience working with precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Positive attitude and desire to build a long-term skilled trade career

Pay Details: $27.04 to $32.65 per hour
