We are looking for a skilled Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Maintenance Technician to play a key role in maintaining and improving our equipment reliability. This advanced maintenance position involves diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on all types of Ground Support Equipment.

Pay Range: $24/hr - $45/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic systems.
  • Handle complex repairs such as engine work, hydraulic system rebuilds, and electrical harness repairs.
  • Interpret and apply OEM manuals, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic schematics.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on repeat high-impact failures and suggest improvements.
  • Mentor and support less experienced technicians to enhance their skills.
  • Document all work performed using the company's CMMS (AssetWorks) following established standards.
  • Ensure compliance with OEM specifications and regulatory safety standards.
  • Assist with parts identification and inventory control.
  • Communicate equipment status and repair timelines effectively with leads and management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two to five years of experience in automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, or GSE maintenance preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair complex issues.
  • Proficient with diagnostic tools and the ability to read technical manuals and diagrams.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be flexible to work various hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Work in both indoor shop environments and outdoor ramp areas, with exposure to varying weather conditions.
  • Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and a fast-paced environment.
