Warehouse Clerk / Cycle Counter

The Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels through scheduled cycle counts. This role ensures data integrity within the business management system and supports operational efficiency by identifying discrepancies, investigating root causes, and recommending corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts according to established schedules to accomplish four cycle counts per fiscal year, categorized by “A” class count items and “B” class count items
• Generate count sheets by specific BIN locations and ensure proper location of each item prior to physical count
• Reconcile inventory variances by researching transactions, reviewing documentation, and inspecting physical product
• Update counts and adjustments in the business management system (Tribute)
• Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and operations teams to resolve inventory issues
• Monitor inventory accuracy trends and report findings to leadership
• Maintain organized, safe, and clean work areas. Bins and shelves are to be cleaned during the cycle count process
• Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives

Support The Hope Group Business Management System [BMS] procedures and work instructions by following established processes and supporting their continual improvement.

Perform other similar or related duties as assigned or directed.
