CV Resources is partnering with a rapidly growing manufacturing company in Boise to identify a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze and maintain product costing, standard costs, and inventory valuations
• Prepare and review monthly cost accounting reports, variance analysis, and inventory reconciliations
• Partner with operations, supply chain, and production teams to improve cost visibility and identify savings opportunities
• Assist with month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Monitor inventory transactions, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes
• Evaluate labor, material, and overhead costs while identifying trends and inefficiencies
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
• Develop and enhance reporting tools, dashboards, and KPI metrics
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls related to inventory and manufacturing accounting
• Participate in ERP enhancements and process improvement initiatives

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting, and variance analysis
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, JD Edwards, or similar platforms
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis
• Knowledge of GAAP and manufacturing accounting principles
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally and thrive in a growth-oriented environment
