Summary: As a key member of our sales team, you will drive the growth and profitability of MSI's Tile product lines within our extensive retailer and dealer network. Your efforts will be essential in expanding our market presence and building strong customer relationships.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to drive sales and effectively promote our flooring and countertop products.
- Provide valuable product knowledge and training to store personnel, enabling them to engage consumers effectively.
- Stay informed about company products, market competition, and strategies to position our offerings advantageously.
- Manage displays, samples, and sales tools to ensure they are available and appealing to customers.
- Consult with dealers on retail pricing, promotions, and marketing strategies, leveraging financial insights for effective decision-making.
- Prepare quotes, discuss credit terms, and manage sales contracts to ensure smooth transaction processes.
- Estimate delivery dates based on company schedules to set accurate customer expectations.
- Analyze sales reports to identify growth opportunities with current and potential clients.
- Utilize marketing materials to effectively promote products and foster territory growth.
- Research customer needs and market trends to better align our offerings with demand.
- Address customer claims and issues related to deliveries, returns, and credits professionally.
- Participate in trade shows and industry events as needed.
- Travel up to 90% of the time, primarily locally with occasional overnight trips.
- Perform additional duties as required to support team objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Previous sales experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Industry experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Strong mathematical skills for financial calculations are necessary.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, able to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM platforms is preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Physical Demands:
- This role involves regular use of hands to handle tools and requires standing, walking, and occasional sitting.
- Employees must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- This is a safety-sensitive position requiring good vision for close tasks.
