Duties

• Assist providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Prepare patients for their appointments by obtaining medical histories, assessing the status of their current conditions.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, and post-procedure care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with coding for insurance purposes.
• Ensure the clinic environment is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively.
• Support the team in administrative tasks as needed to enhance clinic operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in dermatology or outpatient clinics, is preferred.
• Knowledge of physiology and familiarity with coding practices is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems is a plus.
