Make an impact this school year by supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a collaborative environment, providing vital speech and language services. This full-time, contract position runs from August 14, 2025, through May 22, 2026, serving a single school with a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students from Pre-K through 5th grade. You'll also benefit from the assistance of a part-time SLPA dedicated to your site, allowing you to focus on student-centered care.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or eligible for Oklahoma SLP licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates will also be considered
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings ideal
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Collaborative communication skills and the ability to work well with educators, families, and team members
Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop IEPs, and implement evidence-based therapy for students with speech and language needs
- Maintain timely and accurate records, including progress notes and reports in accordance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate closely with special education teams and general educators to promote student achievement
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic materials and approaches, tailored for elementary learners
- Partner with the assigned SLPA for effective intervention delivery and service coordination
- Participate in parent meetings, staffings, and professional development sessions as needed
