Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

Join a field-based production crew and support day-to-day operations by performing a wide range of general labor tasks. You will move materials on site, handle sampling activities, assist with basic mechanical and construction-related duties, and help maintain safe and efficient plant operations in an outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work as an active member of a crew to support the production process through general labor duties.
  • Move, load, and unload materials on site, including lifting items up to 50 pounds and loading them into trucks.
  • Perform tasks that require frequent standing, bending, and manual handling of materials in an outdoor setting.
  • Use hand tools and basic mechanical tools safely to assist with construction and plant-related tasks.
  • Carry out sampling activities as directed to support plant operations and quality control.
  • Monitor, log, and help control chemical inventories in accordance with established procedures.
  • Perform necessary plant operations functions as directed by lead operators and supervisors.

Work Environment

This is an outdoor, field-based role, with daily pick-up from a designated location in Henderson, NV. You will drive yourself to the company pick-up location in Henderson and then travel with the crew in a team vehicle to the job site; contractors do not drive the team vehicle. Work is scheduled Monday through Thursday, with pick-up at 4:00 a.m. and return later in the day. Conditions can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, so you should be prepared for varying weather and temperature extremes. The environment involves working around heavy equipment, chemicals, and plant operations, using hand tools and performing physically demanding labor. Appropriate workwear suitable for outdoor construction and plant environments, including sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing, is expected to ensure safety and comfort throughout the shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Las Vegas, NV.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
