We are seeking a compassionate and hardworking Radiologic Tech/MRI Tech to join our full-time practice in Baltimore, MD. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in patient management, excellent communication and organizational abilities, and will have completed a 2-year accredited radiology program. Certification in radiography by the ARRT is required.

Skills

  • Diagnostic Radiography license with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Licensed in the state of MD
  • Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
  • Proficient in operating imaging equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for diagnostic tests while ensuring their safety and comfort
  • Exercise professional judgment in providing essential patient care for radiology procedures
  • Position patients and obtain quality x-rays and MRIs as requested by providers
  • Maintain radiologic rooms and ensure all equipment is clean and functional
  • Perform quality control tests on diagnostic equipment
  • Process X-ray films and MRIs, maintaining accurate files and logs
  • Assist other staff members as necessary
  • Stock medical and radiologic supplies

Qualifications

  • Completion of a 2-year accredited radiology program
  • 1 year of clinical experience preferred
  • Ability to operate special equipment for imaging and monitoring

Education Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • ARRT certification in Radiography

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year clinical experience preferred
