Job Summary:
Electrophysiology (EP) Specialist position located in Des Moines, Iowa. This role involves providing specialized care in the cardiac electrophysiology laboratory, supporting patients through complex procedures and diagnostics. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional with proven expertise in electrophysiology procedures and clinical support.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift hours, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 24 months of current Electrophysiology (EP) experience required; 12 months of EP experience highly preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Stim experience preferred; Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) experience preferred; RCIS or RCES certification preferred.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have current EP and Cardiac Cath (CCL) experience, with specific skills aligned to electrophysiology protocols. Travel experience is highly preferred. The role involves floating across all local campuses to similar units. Orientation sessions are scheduled for 07/27/2026, 08/03/2026, and 08/10/2026. The contract requires working 1-2 of the upcoming Summer holidays unless the unit is closed.
- Travel and Work Policy: Applicants must adhere to the organization's separation policy; previous employees of the facility, whether employed full-time or PRN, are ineligible to work travel assignments within this market if they have worked at the facility in the past 12 months. The role involves working across all Des Moines campuses as needed.
