Senior Cost Accountant - Willingboro, NJ (Hybrid: 4 days onsite / 1 remote) to $95,000

Growing manufacturing company - Cost Accountant for a newly created position. Excellent opportunity for someone with cost accounting experience who wants to make a meaningful impact; build and improve the company's cost accounting function, gaining visibility across manufacturing operations, inventory, and financial reporting.

Requirements: Senior Cost Accountant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• manufacturing industry experience + Cost Accounting Experience
• Knowledge of costing and inventory accounting
• Excel and ERP experience (Acumatica a plus)

Responsibilities – Senior Cost Accountant

• Maintain and update standard costs (materials, labor, overhead) in ERP system
• Analyze manufacturing variances (material, labor, overhead, PPV) and explain drivers
• Support month-end close, COGS, and inventory accounting
• Manage WIP, raw materials, and finished goods valuation
• Lead and support cycle counts and physical inventory reconciliations
• Partner with operations and engineering on cost drivers and process improvements
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing and plant costs
• Support BOM creation, routings, and production reporting accuracy
• Contribute to new product costing and profitability analysis
• Improve inventory and production flow processes within ERP
