CNC Machinist

Responsibilities:

• Set up, program, and operate CNC milling and turning machines
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications
• Select, install, and adjust tooling, fixtures, and offsets
• Monitor machining operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and adherence to tolerances
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment
• Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Partner with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes
• Maintain production documentation and machine records
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and clean work environment practices

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years as a CNC Machinist
• Technical Experience:
• 5+ years operating CNC machines (milling and/or turning)
• 5+ years of G-code programming and CNC controls
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CAD/CAM software (CATIA or similar)
• Experience with process optimization and troubleshooting in machining environments
