Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Part-Time Medical Assistant Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will deliver engaging, hands-on training to aspiring medical assistants, helping them gain the essential skills and confidence needed for success in healthcare settings. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire students to reach their full potential and prepare them for real-world challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive instruction on medical assisting procedures, including clinical and administrative tasks
  • Facilitate interactive classroom activities and practical demonstrations to enhance student learning
  • Assess student progress through evaluations, feedback, and performance assessments
  • Maintain a positive and motivating classroom environment that encourages active participation
  • Stay current with industry standards and incorporate relevant updates into curriculum content
  • Support students in developing professional skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve instructional methods and program quality

Skills

  • Proven experience as a medical assistant or in a related healthcare role, with the ability to teach technical skills effectively
  • Strong communication skills to clearly convey complex concepts to diverse learners
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students through energetic teaching approaches
  • Knowledge of current medical assisting practices, regulations, and industry standards
  • Prior university or higher education experience is highly desirable
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage lesson plans, assessments, and student records
  • A passion for education and helping others succeed in their healthcare careers

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Medical Assisting: 3 years (Required)
