West Nashville Preschool is a Christian preschool seeking experienced, dependable educators who value consistency, trust, and high-quality care in early childhood education. Candidates must have a high school diploma/GED and be at least 18 years of age. Our operating hours are Monday through Friday, 7:15 AM–5:15 PM, year-round.

Now Hiring: Full-Time Toddler Educator

We're seeking a passionate Toddler Educator to join our team as a co-lead educator with children ages 14–20 months. This role is essential in creating a nurturing, educational atmosphere for our youngest learners — fostering spiritual growth while ensuring each child's safety and well-being.

This is a physically active role: staff must be able to climb stairs, play on the floor, lift young children, move quickly, and prioritize tasks and needs while communicating clearly. Just as important is a willingness to work closely and respectfully with others while adhering to DHS child care guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven childcare experience
• Strong understanding of child/toddler development
• Dependable, attentive, and professional
• Ability to manage transitions smoothly
• Excellent communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively with families and staff
• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about working with young children
• Alignment with Christian values (required)

Compensation

Based on education and experience:

• $15/hr (high school diploma, no experience)
• $17/hr (relevant degree, no experience)
• Higher pay available for relevant experience and education
