The work

As a Product Owner / Product Manager in this role, you will drive the acceleration of operational AI adoption within a defense modernization initiative.

Key responsibilities:

Lead Agile product management activities in alignment with the Agile Manifesto, ensuring rapid and iterative delivery of mission capabilities

Develop and maintain product roadmaps that accelerate operational AI adoption within a modern Hub-and-Spoke architecture

Drive user adoption planning and ensure solutions are designed with a user-centric approach

Coordinate cross-functional teams, including AI, DevSecOps, data engineering, platform engineering, and cybersecurity, to deliver integrated enterprise software solutions

Prioritize mission needs and capabilities, balancing stakeholder input with strategic objectives

Decompose high-level requirements into actionable stories, tasks, and epics for development teams

Oversee the integration of AI platforms, agentic AI systems, and enterprise AI governance into operational workflows

Support continuous monitoring and scalable software delivery for defense modernization initiatives

Align operational delivery with roadmap objectives, ensuring timely and effective deployment of mission applications

Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure clear communication across all project stakeholders

Success in this role will also be supported by your ability to manage cross-functional coordination, prioritize mission objectives, and facilitate the adoption of innovative AI-driven solutions within complex operational workflows.

Your day-to-day work will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to prioritize capabilities, decompose requirements, and break down complex stories and tasks into actionable epics

You will ensure that user-centric design principles are embedded throughout the development process, aligning operational delivery with evolving mission needs.

You will be responsible for shaping and executing a product roadmap that leverages a modern Hub-and-Spoke architecture, supporting mission-critical applications, enterprise AI governance, agentic AI systems, and scalable software delivery

Here’s what you need:

Experience with Agile product management

Experience with tools and processes such as any of the following: continuous monitoring, observability platforms, and user adoption planning will help you coordinate effectively across teams and stakeholders

Nice to have:

Familiarity with enterprise software delivery, AI platforms, and the integration of DevSecOps, data engineering, platform engineering, and cybersecurity will be highly beneficial

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
