Anduril Intelligence Systems (AIS) is focused on positioning Anduril as a lead provider of specialized engineering and next generation national security products for Intelligence Community (IC) customers and partners worldwide. We work with the IC and international partners to understand their requirements, shape their concepts of operation, and deliver exquisite capability across their problem set. We aim to develop and deploy critically needed capabilities that address our customers’ most pressing national security requirements.
ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for experienced Software Engineers who will assist in driving, developing, and deploying unique Anduril products and capabilities to international customers. You'll dive into a diverse range of projects, partnering with brilliant minds across disciplines to engineer robust software systems that empower our mission-critical operations. We're seeking talented generalist software engineers on to contribute to projects that are shaping the future of defense.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Develop and maintain distributed systems that underpin Anduril's advanced defense technology applications.
Design and implement core infrastructure and platform services that enable other engineers to scale their output
Build and maintain backend and web development frameworks and networking solutions
Assist in developing Anduril capabilities for international partners/markets
Integrate model/software/hardware-in-the-loop components using first and third-party technologies
Collaborate with team members and partners in the autonomy domain
Create technologies and processes that enable users to safely and rapidly develop and deploy autonomous systems at scale
Participate in technical design reviews and system architecture discussions
Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and data management solutions
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in areas/fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
3+ years working with a variety of programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, Rust, Go, JavaScript, etc.
Experience building software solutions involving significant amounts of data processing and analysis
Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases
A desire to work on critical software that has a real-world impact
Ability to travel up to 25% to both domestic and international locations, as needed
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience building or inventing something: an app, a website, game, or startup
Professional software development lifecycle experience using tools such as version control, CI/CD systems, etc.
Experience building scalable backend software systems with various data storage and processing requirements
Experience with industry standard cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and software infrastructure fundamentals
Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases
Experience with modern build and deployment tooling (e.g., NixOS, Terraform)
Experience designing complex software systems and iterating upon designs via technical design reviews
Familiarity with industry standard monitoring, logging, and data management tools and best practices
US Salary Range
$166,000 $220,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
