Production Worker/Manufacturer

Overview

You will have the opportunity to work with metal casting and foundry equipment to help process brass castings from start to finish. Our castings are mainly used to assemble fire hydrants which are then shipped across the country. We take pride in producing quality castings that help keep people safe!

Our typical work shift is 6am-4:30pm Monday - Friday. No weekends.

New hires start in our "clean up" department where we clean up metal castings with air tooling, grinding wheels, shot blasters and robots.

We provide on the job training for this physical, yet rewarding, job. (Bring your muscles!)

Reliability, communication and teamwork are a must.

We take safety seriously. In doing so, we have a zero tolerance drug and alcohol policy which includes THC. Applicants are required to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment safely to produce high-quality products.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for the final step in our manufacturing process.
• Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Follow instructions and procedures for operating equipment safely and efficiently.

Skills

• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in manufacturing settings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on collaboration and communication.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
