Warehouse Material Handler - Forklift Required

BlueLinx is looking for a Material Handler/Forklift Operator to assist in our distribution center. Our Material Handlers assist us with safely loading our trucks and unloading our railcars. Operate forklift in compliance with forklift training and safety guidelines.

Load/unload/store building materials from trailers or rail cars while minimizing damage.

Store and retrieve material (piece pick and/or bulk)

Prepare the paperwork required for distribution and shipping of products.

Performs daily inspection and maintenance of equipment.

Assists in periodic inventory counts as requested.

One year or recent forklift/warehouse experience

Ability to proficiently and safely use forklift to transport product, load/unload trucks

Ability to read/comprehend sales order, purchase orders, safety material, etc.
