We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized PM Line Cook to join our culinary team in Lexington, United States. In this role, you will oversee evening shift kitchen operations, ensuring consistent food quality, efficient service, and strict adherence to food safety standards. You will manage line cooks, coordinate food preparation, and maintain a professional, high-performing kitchen environment during peak service hours.

Supervise and coordinate all line cooking activities during the PM shift, ensuring timely and accurate food preparation

Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with local health codes and company protocols

Train, mentor, and evaluate line cook staff, providing constructive feedback and performance guidance

Manage kitchen inventory, monitor food costs, and minimize waste while maintaining quality standards

Schedule staff shifts and adjust staffing levels based on anticipated service volume

Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff and management regarding kitchen status and any operational issues

Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, troubleshooting minor issues and reporting maintenance needs

Ensure proper plating, presentation, and consistency of all dishes according to established standards

Monitor and control food costs while maintaining portion consistency and quality

Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, efficiency, and a commitment to excellence during service

Respond decisively to operational challenges and implement solutions to maintain service flow

Minimum 3 years of line cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment

Proven supervisory or shift management experience in a kitchen setting

Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation protocols, and local health code requirements

Proficiency with standard kitchen equipment and tools

Demonstrated ability to manage inventory and control food costs

Excellent time management and multitasking skills under pressure

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate team members

Experience with POS systems and kitchen management software (preferred)

Knowledge of various cooking techniques and culinary best practices

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work in a hot kitchen environment

Organized, detail-oriented approach to work with a focus on quality and consistency
