Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Senior CNC Machine Operator in Baltimore, MD for direct-hire!

Pay: $22.75 - $24.50 per hour (based on experience). Shift Differential: Additional 10% premium ($25.00 - $27.00 per hour equivalent, based on experience). Night Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM - 30-minute lunch break (some flexibility on lunchbreak time).

Training Requirement:

• 3-5 weeks of training on first shift
• Flexible training start time between 5:00 AM and 8:00 AM (consistent start time required)

An established precision manufacturing company serving highly regulated industries is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator III to join its production team. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, maintaining tight tolerances, performing quality inspections, and making minor machine adjustments to ensure production efficiency.

What You’ll Do

• Operate a variety of production machinery within a manufacturing cell
• Perform quality checks and inspections using precision measuring equipment
• Make minor machine adjustments to maintain product quality and production standards
• Escalate major machine issues to setup personnel or leadership when needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and lubrication
• Complete minor equipment repairs and coordinate maintenance support as needed
• Follow production schedules, work instructions, and quality requirements
• Use measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Assist with material handling, counting, cleaning, and transferring parts
• Support cross-training initiatives and team-based manufacturing operations
• Operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts
• Ensure all safety guards and equipment are functioning properly
• Assist team members as needed to meet production goals

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC experience
• Ability to inspect parts and maintain close tolerances
• Experience using precision measuring instruments
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and mechanical drawings
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to use hand tools and perform minor machine adjustments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred

• High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 20 lbs.
• Occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs.
