Probation & Pre-Trial Services Director

Freeborn County is seeking a Probation Services Director. This position leads a department of 15 staff, including probation, truancy, STS coordinator, support and veterans court staff. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years in the field of Corrections and understand evidence-based practices in the field. He/she must hold at least a BS degree in Corrections, Law Enforcement or a related field. The Director presents budgets to the County Board, does grant reporting at both federal and state levels and attends meetings and trainings throughout the state.
