Office Manager / Bookkeeper

South Denver

A well-established specialty subcontractor is seeking an Office Manager / Accounting Coordinator to become the operational backbone of a small, tight-knit team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, thrives in a small-business environment, and can balance administrative, project coordination, and accounting responsibilities.

Compensation & Benefits

What You'll Do

Office Administration & Project Coordination (50%)

  • Serve as the primary administrative support for project managers, field staff, customers, and vendors
  • Manage Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and compliance documentation
  • Process lien waivers and construction-related project paperwork
  • Support project tracking and customer documentation requests
  • Answer phones and assist with day-to-day office operations
  • Maintain organized project and customer files

Accounting & Bookkeeping (50%)

  • Full-cycle Accounts Payable and vendor management
  • Accounts Receivable and customer billing
  • Assist with job costing and purchase order administration
  • Maintain accounting records and bookkeeping functions
  • Support sales tax documentation and compliance
  • Work within accounting and construction billing systems to ensure accuracy

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in construction administration, office management, bookkeeping, or accounting
  • Knowledge of COIs, lien waivers, customer billings, and construction documentation
  • Experience with Textura or similar construction platforms is highly preferred
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Construction industry experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday
  • Approximately 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Flexible scheduling available
  • 100% onsite
