System Status Controller

Working under the direction of the Communications Center Manager, the System Status Controller is responsible for receiving requests for ambulance service via telephone and radio and determining appropriate response via Medical Priority Dispatch. Effectively enter patient information into the CAD system and select and dispatch the appropriate unit(s) to the call while maintaining accurate System Status Control by relocating units to post locations as designated by the System Status Plan.
