Job Description and Responsibilities
This is a full-time, on-site role as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) serving a school located in the Edmond, Oklahoma, OK City area.
The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting screeners, monitoring progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.
Job Details
Full-time 37.5 hours/week
Following the school calendar start and end dates: August/September 2026 - May, 2027
Grades: Elementary - Middle/High school.
On-site, in-person
Job Duties: direct therapy, consultation, planning, collaboration with SLP supervisor
Guaranteed Hours, including documentation, administrative and planning time
Dual support from the District and TheraPeds
Manageable caseloads
$40 – $45+/hour
Depending upon job placement and caseload, this positions could be working within 1-3+ buildings, sometimes more. These details will be further discussed at the interview.
