OTR Truck Drivers

Role Description This full-time, on-site OTR Truck Driver role is based out of Dalton, GA. The driver will operate a commercial truck to transport freight safely and efficiently over long distances, following scheduled routes and delivery windows. Daily responsibilities include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing loads, and ensuring compliance with all DOT and company safety regulations. The driver will manage required logs and documentation, communicate regularly with dispatch, and report any delays, issues, or maintenance needs. The role may involve unloading freight at customer locations and interacting professionally with customers and terminal staff.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license and a safe, verifiable driving record; strong Truck Driving experience in OTR operations.
• Working knowledge of DOT Regulations and commitment to safety, compliance, and proper documentation.
• Ability to handle basic Unloading tasks as required and safely manage freight handling procedures.
• Experience operating and caring for commercial Truck equipment, including performing routine inspections.
• Minimum age and medical qualifications as required by federal and state regulations.
• Strong time management, route planning, and communication skills.
• Ability to sit for extended periods, climb in and out of the cab, and lift moderate weights as needed.
• Previous OTR or regional driving experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
