**Express is seeking a Lead Inspector / Machinist for a Manufacturing position in New Kensington, PA!**
We're looking for an experienced quality professional to lead inspection operations in a precision manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong CMM experience, blueprint reading skills, and the ability to mentor and support an inspection team in a fast-paced setting.
Shift
- Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Duties Of The Lead Inspector / Machinist
- Lead and support the inspection team by assigning tasks and assisting with training
- Operate and program manual and CNC CMM machines for precision inspections
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering specifications
- Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections on manufactured parts
- Utilize inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Identify and document non-conforming products and assist with corrective actions
- Maintain inspection records and generate quality reports
- Promote workplace safety and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
- Other duties as required
Qualifications Of The Lead Inspector / Machinist
- High school diploma or GED
- Attention to detail and safety
- Reliability
- 3-5 years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience operating and programming manual and CNC CMM equipment
- Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Leadership or mentoring experience preferred
- Familiarity with metrology software such as PC-DMIS preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to bend, lift, twist, crouch, etc.
